Copyright infringement claims

Keylime respects the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Since Keylime provides software licensing services to third-party developers, if you believe that a software product using Keylime licenses contains content that infringes your copyright, you should send a written infringement notice to our designated copyright agent.

Required information in notice

To file a copyright infringement notice with Keylime, you must provide a written communication that includes the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. developer application or key details).
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit Keylime to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
